The camas is blooming. Blue blue blue |
In our neck of the woods we have a trail that winds through an expanse of rolling hills, prairies and farmlands. It winds up to a forested summit and plummets back down through trees and moss and ferns to the next little Idaho logging town.
Pretty, pretty, pretty. It shows up purple, purple land in these photos.
ReplyDeleteI used to live in Boise. Well, for one magical, memorable, mystical Summer. I'll never forget it. If I should get a whiff of lavender and bread rising, I am catapulted right back there, so sweet!
My mom is living in Boise now. It's a great little city. I've lived all over the place, in Hawaii even, and never thought i'd feel compelled to settle down; but i'm hooked on my Idahome. After a couple three years here, I can't imagine living anywhere else.
ReplyDeleteLovely, lovely flowers and scenery. Idaho is one of the 7 or so states I've never visited, but I intend to make it there before I'm too old to hike some lovely trails. Until then, I'll live vicariously through posts like these. Thanks for sharing.
